The Beecher Island Sunday School is actively searching for a speaker to preach/teach service 3 Sundays per month. We are a rural non-denominational, Christ-centered, Bible-based fellowship settled at the historic Beecher Island Battlegrounds approximately 16 miles south of Wray. We meet every Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon, with song, prayer, worship, and classes during the first part, and congregational teaching during the second part.
We are a tight-knit and mission-minded fellowship and currently support 12 missionaries. We have a congregation of about 50 with a well balanced age group that regularly attends including toddlers, middle school, high school, newly weds to the elderly, with classes and activities for each. Our goal is to find someone who can guide a deeper faith in Christ and would help enjoy being in fellowship with, and to become integrated, with our congregation.
It is not a requirement that the person selected for this position live or relocate to our community. In the past, speakers have enjoyed being provided with overnight accommodations with members of the congregation on Saturday nights.
If you believe that you are a good candidate for this position, please complete the form below and we will evaluate your application. You may then be contacted and requested to come preach as an initial evaluation.
